Henri Matisse created Red Algae on a Blue Sky Background (Algue rouge sur fond bleu ciel) in 1952 during his late career phase of working with gouache-painted paper cut-outs (papiers découpés).
This exhibition-style poster is striking on its own, or as part of a gallery wall.
