BAUHAUS

The Bauhaus was a German art and design school founded by Walter Gropius in Weimar in 1919. It later moved to Dessau in 1925 and then to Berlin in 1932 before being closed in 1933. Known for its minimalist and functional approach, the Bauhaus style emphasized geometric forms, bold typography, and primary colors, laying the foundation for modernist graphic design. Various artists taught and worked at the Bauhaus School, many of which are now synonymous with the Bauhaus style through their ground breaking designs and art.
